april
April’s been another busy month — regular students honing their skills, and plenty of newcomers building the confidence to post their first mixes online. That’s a big step. Sharing your own set is how you start building a fanbase — it’s putting a piece of your creativity out there. Some of my youngest students, as young as 11, have already started doing it. Liverpool: A DJ Hotspot
Next month sees the launch of Open Decks Event, and I want you to get involved. The date will be announced very soon on my socials — keep an eye out.
It’s your chance to gain proper DJ experience in a real venue, right in the heart of Liverpool city centre. We’ll be using the Pioneer CDJ-3000s and DJM-900 mixer — pro gear, proper setup. Rave Therapy – Learn the Real Foundations
Also on the horizon: Rave Therapy — a new course for those who want to go beyond just jumping on the decks.
Far too often, lessons skip the foundations — and that’s where people get lost. This course will take you from the ground up: discovering the music that moves you, understanding how your gear actually works, and learning how to set it up and get mixing without treating it like some spaceship you’re scared to touch.
DJing doesn’t need to be complicated. This course will show you that.
Head over to the website and sign up to be the first to hear when it launches.
