January 2025

January was a month of mixed feelings for me. I was a bit hesitant about what to expect, but boy, was I wrong! It’s been an incredibly busy time. Many of you have been reaching out to use your lesson packages from Christmas and taking your first steps into the world of DJing. I’m so excited for each and every one of you! I’m here to support you and help you reach your goals. Some of you have specific goals in mind, and that makes me so happy. It gives us both something personal to work towards. Whether it’s playing at your own birthday party or surprising your family with your new skills, I’m here to help you make it happen.

In early January, I launched Rave Therapy to a small group of adults. I was looking for people who were putting off learning to DJ. I wanted to create a community of like-minded individuals who shared my passion for music. We all shared stories about our early experiences of clubbing, from Lancaster to Southport and all over Liverpool. It’s been a blast working with such a supportive and fun group of people who’ve become like family. This Wednesday, they’ll all be performing at Modo for their final show. It’s a family event, so you’re all welcome to come down and see their amazing skills. It’s also a great opportunity to chat with them about their experience working with me at Rave Therapy.

If you follow me on social media, you’ll see some amazing work from my clients in January. They’re pushing themselves to new heights with their skills. I wanted to offer something different and unique in the Northwest. A professional, custom-built DJ booth with a Pioneer 900 mixer and three CDJ 3000s, plus lights, is sure to catch anyone’s attention on social media. If you’ve made it this far, here’s a 20% discount code for a single lesson this month: FEB20. I want to help all DJs reach their goals, no matter what they are.

This month, I’m introducing a new add-on service. I know not everyone wants to book a DJ lesson. Some DJs prefer to mix and do things their own way, and that’s totally cool. But not every DJ knows how to work the equipment. So, you can now book an equipment overview and guidance lesson. Then, for the rest of your session, you can live stream or record video content for your social media channels. On top of that, you’ll get a selection of professional photos and audio recordings of your set. To book this service, just book a DJ lesson and click ‘Add On’ to see it’s available to you.
